One Big (Jug Doug) Year in the Books
People would think I have been DJ’ing for many years, but the reality is that it’s only been a little over a year. Maybe it is because I thought the world is supposed to come to an end soon… In my mind, I have not even started what I plan to do in my life. It’s always a good feeling to not know what is next!
The University of Oklahoma recognized Big Jug Doug in their 2011-2012 yearbook. Talk about a big first year in the books!!

Opened for Mt Eden last week at a venue I always grew up going to and watching other artists perform. Being able to play the same stage that Jack White, Bob Dylan, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bassnectar and many, many, MANY more is incredible. Keep grindin’ for God! #G4G
Opened for Basic Physics at Fiji Islander!
Last Thursday, March 29th, was the epic Fiji Islander at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. I had to opportunity to open for a well known DJ named Basic Physics. He is a DJ from Wisconsin who has had experience from working with Skrillex in the past, as he opened for the “king of electro music” last year for the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. He has also worked with Steve Aoki and now he is scheduled to open for Hardwell, a very successful DJ in the music industry.

Okies for Africa Fundraiser Event!
Big Jug Doug will be opening for the country artist, Hudson Moore, this Thursday, March 8th! The organization sold tickets and t-shirts for the event in order to raise money to build an orphanage in Lusaka, Zambia in honor of a little girl named Sarah. All proceeds go towards the Family Legacy organization for building Sarah’s House. This guy (AKA Big Jug Doug) will be the one getting those Cowgirls dancin’!

You are a CINEMA. How else does that describe the love one has for another? Benny Benassi and Gary Go thought they perfected this song just when Skrillex mixed it up with his own personal taste. The Two Door Cinema Club’s song, “What You Know” could not have fit any better (remixed by DMY). This remix mashes up a collaboration of famous movie quotes, starting out with the poem scene in “10 Things I Hate About You”. I made a special video below, Eight and a half minutes of sound wave lovin’. This remix was made for my beautiful girl, since it is Valentines day.
